Project: Charm, Chaotic Harmony‘s idol promotion wing is proud to present a couple of exciting acts for this year’s Saboten Con, Candye♡Syrup and SENANAN. Yes, this will be the first appearance for both acts in the US. Lets find out a bit about what is going on.
Saboten Con in Phoenix, Arizona will run from August 31st to September 3rd this year. Primarily an Japanese pop-culture convention, they host many guests from the world of art and anime, including professional cosplayers and voice actors.
Maybe it would be best if I let Chaotic Harmony tell you about this in their own words.
Chaotic Harmony’s Project: Charm is proud to present Candye♡Syrup and Senanan at Saboten Con 2018! Join them for a live concert, Q&A panel, autograph sessions, and the J-fashion show. Senanan will even be performing as a guest DJ in one of Saboten’s raves! Both Candye♡Syrup and Senanan will be participating in a special event which will be announced later.
Candye♡Syrup, produced by IKU, owner of the famed Harajuku beauty salon of the same name, is a new idol group. The group is composed of five members, Mai Aisaki (Mermaid Blue), Non (Melty Black), Colomo Chian (Milky Purple), Ichigo Hatsune (Cotton Candy Pink) and Saaya Amatsuka (Angel White) Candye♡Syrup was born to destroy the boundary between the kids and Idol Otaku by mixing the fairy cute world and superb brutal musical elements.
Not just a designer but a DJ, too?! It’s a miracle but it’s not magic?! This is “SENANAN,” a new sensation who can grant you whatever you wish. She wears many faces and has been featured as a model in publications such as KERA!, FRUiTS, Koakuma ageha, SHUTTER, and Tokyo GraffiT and has been featured on TV, designs her own brand, QissQill, and is a charisma blogger. Most recently, she has been making appearance at famous events as an extensive crossover DJ, featuring idol, anime, and loud scene songs. Senanan was also active in Strawberry Syndrome, which features Rinahamu, formerly of the idol group BiS.
There you have it, live show, Q&A panel, autograph session and a fashion show. I don’t see how you could go wrong attending this event.
Dates and times for the events will be announced later. As this is a convention some things may not be announced until closer to the event.
